Flexroom is building 88 modern student apartments at Rynkevangen 10, at Kalundborg Campus. Centrally located, a stone’s throw from the educational institutions, 600 meters from Kalundborg Øst station and 800 meters from the vibrant city center.
The homes are built according to the latest principles of green sustainability and energy savings. The student housing is built on 2 floors with external access.
The individual home is approx. 20 m2, plus access to a shared veranda. The total home therefore has an area of approx. 24.5 m2. The very first homes will be ready before the end of 2025. The rent level will be approx. 4500 DKK.

You are part of the climate solution
When you live with us, you are part of the green transition with the goal of reducing CO2 and contributing to the climate solution. This happens in three ways: Firstly, your home is insulated to comply with the latest requirements for insulation and energy savings. Secondly, we use waste heat from industry to heat the homes. Thirdly, we have built your home in sustainable materials, including wood and Nordic materials in harmony with nature. And then we have set aside space for you to easily park your bike.
You get your own independent accommodation
You alone get the key to your own home! You get your own home, which you don’t have to share with others if you don’t want to. You get 20m2 inside, where there is the following: A fully fitted kitchen with oven, stove, extractor hood, sink, kitchen cabinets and refrigerator. You can make your own healthy dishes from scratch, and there is room for several guests around a table. There is still room for a large bed, shelves and wardrobe. The home has its own bathroom and toilet. There is of course ventilation and heat recovery with a special fresh air system, which ensures a good atmospheric climate. Outside the door you have access to a shared veranda, corresponding to approx. 4.5m2 per home.
This is better than a dormitory
Dormitory life can be cozy, no doubt about it. But it can also be troublesome. So if you are tired of a shared kitchen, washing dishes for others or if you just want to immerse yourself in your studies and withdraw from the community, then these student apartments are the solution for you.

Rynkevangen is a peaceful area where only the birdsong breaks the silence. In your own home you can find the peace and quiet that you may need both for study time and for a good night’s sleep. The home is insulated to the strictest standards. This means that we save energy and keep out noise.
You get diverse surroundings and green areas
There is space between the homes, so you can hang out, soak up the sunshine or have a barbecue with friends. You can also enjoy sauna steam and dip yourself in the cold water tub. The homes are built in sustainable wood species. The homes are positioned on the plot so that we have preserved many of the old trees. We leave most of the plot with wild biodiversity with room for butterflies and insects. But if you have green fingers, you are welcome to plant a small herb bed and thus become your own gardener. Why not grow your own salads, beans, cucumbers and tomatoes?
You can become part of a community
Even though you have your own key to your own home, you have the opportunity to reach out to a community. Each home is located in a community of 8 apartments that share a common terrace. So there are good chances of finding new friends among the neighbors.
You get access to an activity house
You might occasionally need a room for larger social gatherings? That’s no problem, because we have a multi-purpose house where many people can gather for meals and parties. In the activity house you will find a communal laundry. In front of the house we have set up a seating terrace. Another fun meeting place.

A booming growth area
So many words about the development. A little about Kalundborg Municipality: 49,000 citizens live in the municipality and things are going well now, including with the influx of students. The reason is that the Municipality has attracted some of the world’s most exciting companies, which are located close to the campus.
A real youth life
The town of Kalundborg itself has 17,000 inhabitants. It is full of history and tradition. And is developing very quickly. Here you can find everything within sports and culture. Whether you skate or listen to music, play football… you can find it all in Kalundborg. At a cozy level and at the top level. Even the going-out life with cafes and meeting places is growing.
